Richard, the Duke of Gloucester, is one of Shakespeare's
cruellest villains. Aiming for the throne, he has everyone
killed who stands in his way and takes great delight in
doing so. Why doesn't the audience hate him? He is very
amusing, too, until his enemy Richmond makes him shout
for a horse…
