Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark

Unsere Zuschauer haben bewiesen, wie bekannt Hamlets Passagen sind: beim 'To be or not to be'-Monolog gab es leise Unterstützung von den Zuschauern.

Hamlet: 'To be...'  Publikum: '...or not to be'  Hamlet: '...or not to be'  Publikum: 'that is the question.'  Hamlet: 'that is the question.' Allerdings wusste dann nur unser Hamlet, wie der Rest weitergeht!

Ganz bewegend war es am Schluss, als ganz viele Zuschauer leise Hamlets letzte Worte nach 'The rest...' mitsprachen, nämlich '...is silence.'

Hamlet

"O, that this too too solid flesh would melt!"

"To be or not to be, that is the question."

"Frailty, thy name is woman!"

"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."

"The time is out of joint. O cursèd spite that I was born to set it right!"

"There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so."

"The play's the thing wherein I'll catch the conscience of the king."

"The readiness is all."

"The rest is silence."

Hamlet's most famous line in Globish

(von Robert McCrum):

Polonius

"This above all: to thine own self be true."

"Brevity is the soul of wit."

Horatio

"Now cracks a noble heart.

Good night, sweet prince:

and flights of angels see thee to thy rest."
